At 22, I was signed by Click Model Management in New York City and began what would be a 15 year career as a professional model. I traveled the world, working in runway, catalog, print, TV, advertising and designer showrooms for the likes of LePerla, Victoria’s Secret, Versace, Moschino and many others. This was a hectic and exhausting time in my life. Between travel, social events, promotions, and pressure, eating right and resting were not priorities. I was overwhelmed and struggling with my weight, stamina, and wellbeing. I resorted to taking short-cuts in order to keep my energy up and weight down. I relied on energy drinks, diet supplements and other easy fixes as my health deteriorated.
